Clery行为

皇冠体育平台的克莱利法案

The 珍妮·克莱里校园安全法,20 U.S.C.§1092(f)(克莱里法案) is a federal law which requires all colleges and universities that receive federal funding to disclose information about crimes that occur on and near their campuses. Additionally, the Clery行为 requires colleges and universities to publish an 年度保安报告(ASR) informing their communities of campus safety policies and procedures, crime prevention efforts, and campus crime statistics. Colleges and universities that have on-campus student housing are also required to publish an 消防安全年报(AFSR) informing their communities of fire safety policies and procedures and fire statistics.

Collin College prepares and publishes the 保安及消防安全年报(ASFSR) by October 1 each year in order to comply with the Clery行为. Included in the ASFSR are the campus crime, arrest, and referral statistics (i.e., campus crime statistics) for the previous three (3) calendar years, which include incidents reported to the Collin College Police Department, designated campus security authorities (CSAs), and local law enforcement agencies.

Campus “pastoral counselors” and “professional counselors,” when acting as such, are not considered to be a CSA, and are not required to report crimes for inclusion in the annual disclosure of campus crime statistics. However, they are encouraged, if and when they deem it appropriate, to inform persons being counseled of the procedures to report crimes on a voluntary, confidential basis for inclusion in the annual disclosure of campus crime statistics. Collin College does not currently employ any pastoral counselors. Collin College's licensed professional counselors are informed of the procedures to report crimes during various training sessions throughout each academic calendar year.
