The 1989年《无毒学校和社区法》 requires institutions of higher education to establish programs that address unlawful possession, use, or distribution of alcohol 和 illicit drugs, 和 foster safe 和 drug-free learning environments which promote academic achievement.

In accordance with the DFSCA, Collin College conducts a 两年一次的审查 of its participation
to determine program effectiveness 和 consistency of policy enforcement 和 to identify

end of every even-numbered calendar year.
In accordance with the DFSCA, Collin College informs each student 和 employee annually
through Collin email about the following information related to the use of alcohol
和 illegal drugs 和 abuse of any 和 all drugs (whether legal or illegal):

In an effort to fulfill the requirements of the DFSCA, Collin College’s Counseling
Services Office coordinates 现在知道. The purpose of 现在知道 is to educate Collin
College students about issues related to substance use 和 abuse, empower students
to make positive choices for their futures, 和 encourage utilization of campus 和
community resources for recovery.
