Ten apprentices completed the Raytheon Registered Apprenticeship Program at Collin College, becoming skilled journeymen, on May 20. Raytheon hosted a ceremony at the Collin College Technical Campus to honor the inaugural cohort of students and their achievements.

“This is an outstanding accomplishment, and we’re delighted to share it alongside Raytheon,” said Dr. Brenden Mesch, Technical Campus provost. “This group has demonstrated great commitment and determination while going through rigorous training, working a full-time job, and balancing family life.”

This Registered Apprenticeship Program, a collaboration between Collin College and Raytheon, offers participants hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing roles such as assembly technician, precision assembler, and test technician. Through this initiative, apprentices gain practical skills while working toward an associate degree.
